Privacy

This page describes the current launch version of Camera Gear Scout.

Browsing and search

The site does not currently offer visitor accounts, payment processing, newsletter sign-ups, or contact forms. We have not installed advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Site search uses an index delivered with the site and runs in your browser. Your search text may appear in the page URL and browser history.

Hosting

Cloudflare provides the hosting infrastructure for the deployed site. Hosting and security services may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

External shopping links

Amazon and other linked websites have their own privacy policies. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s website. If affiliate tracking is enabled, a shopping URL may include our public affiliate identifier. Read our shopping-link disclosure for the current status.

Changes

We will update this page when features or data practices change.
